Las Vegas is the “Entertainment Capital of the World,” and for decades, “entertainment” in Las Vegas meant burlesque. 54th Annual Burlesque Reunion Showcase
Orleans Showroom, Las Vegas
Friday, June 3, 2011

Every year, I gallop out to Vegas with three rambunctious questions bouncing around in my belly:  What new and exciting performers will I get to see for the first time? Will I make any money on the craps table?  And, how much time will I have to hang out and talk smack with the Legends?  Because let’s face it—those of us immersed in the burlesque world spend a lot of time watching women take their clothes off, but not nearly enough time hearing racy stories from our elders.  THIS is why we’re here.

JUST ANNOUNCED: Titans of Tease 2011

We are thrilled to reveal the lineup for the 54TH ANNUAL BURLESQUE REUNION SHOWCASE! On June 3, 2011 the gorgeous, 850-seat Orleans Showroom will play host to a once-in-a-lifetime lineup of legendary stripteasers–including venerated veterans of the ’40s, ’50s, ’60s & ’70s burlesque stage, many of whom have shimmied their way across America (and the world’s) finest stages for the better part of the last half-century!

An ode to vintage-style striptease in all its risque glory, the Reunion Showcase has its roots in the annual gatherings of dancers held by EDL (and Burlesque Hall of Fame) founder, Jennie Lee, beginning in 1957–a tradition we’re honored to uphold, in the form of a living, breathing, bump-and-grinding testament to burlesque “as it was.”

Scheduled to perform:
The Cosmic Queen...
