THE BURLESQUE HALL OF FAME PRESENTS: ANNIVERSA-TEASE!

The World’s Only Burlesque Museum presents Las Vegas’ best burlesque talent in a benefit show

April 12 at Ron DeCar’s Event Center, Doors: 5:30pm / Show: 7:00pm

March 20, 2019 — The Burlesque Hall of Fame (BHoF) is celebrating the first anniversary of its new museum on Main Street with a burlesque show! As the world’s only museum dedicated to the past, present, and future of burlesque, BHoF is singularly positioned to put together a show like none other.

“We’re putting on the kind of show that doesn’t really exist anymore,” says BHoF Executive Director Dustin M. Wax. “A dinner show, featuring top performers from Las Vegas and beyond, as well as performers from the heyday of burlesque — this is the kind of show that people reminisce about!”

The lineup includes:

  • Bettina May, “The Pinup You Want to Pin Down”
  • Charlie Starling, “The British Bird Ahead of the Curve”
  • Cora Vette, “The Mouth of a Sailor, the Voice of an Angel”
  • Darby Fox, “The Voluptuous Vulpine”
  • Egypt Blaque Knyle, “The Black Siren”
  • La Rosa Muerta, “The Spanish Rose That Will Knock You Dead!”
  • Tickle, costumer and BHoF title-holder

 And burlesque legends:

Lovey Goldmine: Lovey Goldmine started singing with The Scatman Carothers Trio at the age of 17, before entering burlesque at 21. In 1970, she traveled to Paris where she became a performer at the world-famous Crazy Horse Saloon. Returning to the US, she became a featured performer in Los Angeles clubs before coming to Las Vegas where she was a fixture at The Palomino and The Cabaret.

Marinka: Marinka “Queen of the Amazons” has worked in burlesque since the 1960s. After studying under the mentorship of Rose La Rose, Marinka went on to perform in in Ann Corio’s This Was Burlesque and the 1979 Bob Fosse film “All That Jazz”, and has performed all over the U.S., Europe and even in the Middle East.

The event will be held at Ron DeCar’s Event Center at 1201 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, NV 89104. Tickets are $49 VIP Plated / $39 VIP / $29 General Admission (VIP prices include buffet or plated dinner). Doors open at 5:30pm, show starts at 7pm.
