Bunny Bee, Chair

A Colorado native living in Colorado Springs, Bunny Bee is an ABA Certified Paralegal, with extensive experience in employment/labor law, corporate, contract, patent, copyright and trademark law.  In fact, Bunny Bee(™)  is trademarked.  In 2002, she unleashed her entrepreneurial spirit and started a company out of her garage.  She then grew the company into a seven (7) figure a year business.  She has been responsible for the development of patents as well as the copyrights and trademarks of the company.  In the twelve years of the company’s existence, she has been responsible for the management and direction of the company’s entire existence.  She has received many local and national awards for her company.  In 2009, she was recognized as a Rising Star by the Colorado Springs Business Journal, and now assists others with startups as well as advisory to Boards.  With her vast business experience, Bunny Bee brings her energy and skills to BHoF, and looks forward to build upon its impressive foundation that so many have worked hard to achieve.

Bunny Bee made her Burlesque debut in 2009 with the local troupe Peaks and Pasties. She instantly fell in love with the art of striptease; thanks to Lola Spitfire.  In 2011, she attended her first Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender and visited the museum.  It has since been an inspiration and focus for her to raise awareness of the mission of The Burlesque Hall of Fame.  As a Burlesque performer, she has made appearances both Nationally and Internationally, and is also a Co-Director/Producer of Peaks and Pasties and The Colorado Burlesque Festival.  She has also won prestigious notoriety in the modeling industry and has worked with many well known photographers, companies, promotional, variety of different bikini companies as well as Playboy.

Nicollette Daly, Vice-Chair

Nicollette Daly, who may be better known as “Desiré d’Amour”, has been performing burlesque  for over 20 years. She found her inspiration when visiting the Burlesque Hall of Fame museum
in 2000. She joined one of the first burlesque troupes of the neo-burlesque scene, Dane's Dames shortly thereafter. Later, as a solo performer, she graced some of the top stages in burlesque such
as VaVaVoom Room, Lucha Va Voom, Rock & Roll Strip Show, Tease-o-rama and BHoF / Miss Exotic World.

But don’t just look for her on the stage…her burlesque calling continues behind the scenes. Aside from being the CFO and Head of Hospitality of the BHoF Weekender production team,
she has produced shows in San Francisco and Tucson, and helped start Tucson's first burlesque troupe. She loves to share her tassel and fire tassel twirling expertise when teaching others the art
of burlesque. Yet, her proudest achievements are the work she has done as a Member of the Board and CFO for the Burlesque Hall of Fame and BHoF Weekender. As a licensed CPA and Chief Financial Officer of a non-profit, Desiré brings financial, accounting and general business expertise, particularly in the non-profit arena, to the Board and museum.

Whether on stage or off, Desiré lives, breathes, works - and twirls - burlesque!

Dirty Martini (photo by Bettina May)Dirty Martini, Treasurer

Miss Dirty Martini is one of the most celebrated personalities in the world of Neo Burlesque. Voted number one burlesque performer in the world, Miss Martini has spearheaded the new burlesque revolution in New York City and all over the world with her stereotype busting over-the-top physique and classical dance training bringing her vision of vintage glamour into the 21st century. NY Daily News described her performance as "The decadent expression of female sensuality in action," The New York Times proclaimed her "One of the most creative strippers” and the London Daily Telegraph
ran an article entitled "How I fell in Love with Dirty Martini" calling her "the queen of them all!"

Featured in V Magazine with a five page editorial photographed by fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld at the Chanel Atelier in Paris, she has also posed for acclaimed photographers Andres Serrano, Terry Richardson, Roxanne Lowitt and Mario Sorrenti. Dita Von Teese brought her on tour to co-star in her show ‘Strip Strip Hooray’ in the wake of the release of the mainstream movie ‘Burlesque’ "to show America what real burlesque is all about". She continues to tour the world with Miss Von Teese in her shows ‘Art of the Teese’ and ‘The Copper Coupe’. She has made a splash in the UK performing
on the Paul O'Grady TV Show and at London's KoKo nightclub and was a guest judge on Sky TV Italy's "Lady Burlesque" show. Miss Martini is a sought after "Burl-expert" in the written press and television and is featured in almost every book written about the New Burlesque. She holds the title of The Reigning Queen of Burlesque - Miss Exotic World 2004 and has returned to headline at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend and at Viva Las Vegas alongside hostess and legendary pop culture icon Elvira Mistress of the Dark.

Miss Martini has toured internationally with The Cabaret New Burlesque, featured in the Palme D’Or winning film Tournee directed by Mathieu Amalric. Look for her feature length documentary film entitled Dirty Martini and the New Burlesque by Gary Beeber as well as No Wave filmmaker Beth B.'s film Exposed focusing on her life, work, politics and her influence on the resurgence of burlesque all over the globe.

Debra RothDebra Roth

Debra Roth and her pink hair have been a part of the New York art scene for over 40 years. Debra first expressed her love for the color by establishing Pink Inc., a performance art and decor company, in the late 70’s.

Still today she works hard to keep a high-profile, when it’s safe, and is not only the chief creative and co-founder of the Originators - a design and manufacturing fabric structure company - and of LeMasqueNYC, a fashion-forward fabric face covering company, but she’s a yoga master-in-training, a Toastmaster, on the board of the Burlesque Hall of Fame, and an indefatigable swing dancer who finds pop-up dances all over town.

Jaye MacAskillJaye MacAskill

Jaye MacAskill has an accumulated array of educational, professional and volunteer experience in museums, public history, historic preservation, and non-profit work. Originally from Vancouver Island, Canada, she has recently moved to Vermont after living in California for the past 17 years. Some people may know her best as the Canadian half of the married musical-comedy duo Pony Death Ride.

A lifelong fan of “weird museums,” Jaye’s involvement with BHoF started in 2003 when she began volunteering at the Exotic World Burlesque Museum in Helendale, CA as a graduate student in Public History at the University of San Diego. She had initially heard about Dixie Evans’ fascinating striptease museum after picking up a copy of the book Roadside America at the Rideau Center Mall in Ottawa in the mid-1990s. Making her first in-person visit to “the Ranch” on the fateful afternoon of December 31 st , 1999, neither Jaye nor Dixie could have possibly known that she would still be hanging around two decades later. On that particular day, they were both more concerned about Y2K. They eventually became great friends, however, and Jaye would end up among the group of volunteers in 2005 who helped rescue the collection and bring Dixie and Exotic World to Las Vegas where it would become known as the Burlesque Hall of Fame.

Lux LaCroixLux LaCroix

Lux LaCroix is an award-winning burlesque performer, professional dancer, choreographer, performance artist, and documentary filmmaker. Her talent, dedication to the art of burlesque, and commitment to the burlesque community make her a welcome addition to our board as we lean into the challenges posed by a post-COVID world.

Lux splits her time between New York and Los Angeles, performing regularly in both cities. As a dancer and choreographer she has worked with some of the biggest names in music. As a documentary filmmaker she has examined topics ranging from the use of the “N” word in American popular culture, women in punk and hard rock and the art, and the influence of artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. She is currently channeling her documentary and photographic urges into performance art pieces that showcase dance to examine the Black experience in America.

Lux has been a featured performer in burlesque festivals all over the world. In 2008, she was awarded First Runner Up and Most Dazzling Performer at BHoF’s Miss Exotic World competition. In 2009 her burlesque-based performance art piece and tribute to the artist and musician Prince, titled, “Color Me Purple,” was featured at REDCAT’S Spring Studio program. It has been her signature piece since it’s conception, and she still performs it four to six times a month. Lux was voted one of the best burlesque performers in Los Angeles by TimeOut Magazine in 2013. In 2018 she started flexing her hosting muscles by stepping into her role as Femcee for LA based burlesque troupe, Bootleg Bombshells. You can find her dancing, talking and doing her thang on stages, tables, and an occasional parking lot pretty much every night of the week.

Melody Sweets

"Tease Queen" Melody Sweets has traveled the world singing, producing, and performing burlesque for the last 15 years. She is currently under a COVID-influenced hiatus from her upcoming residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Melody has had the honor of being a judge at the Burlesque Hall of Fame's Miss Exotic World competition, and has performed as a special guest during the BHoF's Weekender festival for numerous consecutive years.

In 2008 she introduced the beautiful world of burlesque and live music to a gorgeous NYC supperclub called Duane Park with her show titled The Sweets' Shop, which was featured as one of the "15 top reasons to visit NYC" by Vogue China & Australia, and has entertained such celebrities as Harvey Keitel, Lady Gaga, and Scarlett Johansson. Melody is proud to see Duane Park still thriving today as NYC's premier house of burlesque.

After 2 years of weekly sold-out shows, Melody took a gamble and moved from her beloved NYC, to the city of sin, Las Vegas, Nevada!

From its spring 2011 premiere to autumn 2017, Melody starred in Absinthe at Caesars Palace in the headlining role, “The Green Fairy”, a role she created, cultivated, and saw to great success, garnering such accolades as the “#1 Greatest Show in Las Vegas History” (Las Vegas Weekly)

Melody has had the honor of performing for, or collaborating with, such acclaimed artists as Sting, Jerry Lewis, and Pink. She has had music featured on MTV, A&E, Bravo!, and more. She has graced the covers of numerous magazines including Las Vegas Weekly, What’s On Magazine, the Sunday Styles in The New York Times, and has been featured in the pages of countless publications including Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, New York Magazine, and a 2-page spread (no pun intended) in Penthouse Forum.

You can watch her on the hit television show Gossip Girl, hear her sing as she’s immortalized as two separate characters in the top-selling video game of all time, Grand Theft Auto 4, or see Melody up close, anywhere across America, by visiting her portrait in museums nationwide, including the Harvard Art Museum and the Smithsonian Museum of American History.

Currently, Melody calls Las Vegas her home, enjoys skinny-dipping night swims and, thanks to the pandemic, has found a new love for baking deliciously naughty sweets. She is the proud mama of a 116-lb American Bulldog princess named Pearl, and her two polydactyl Hemmingway Cats, Sir Lucky Seven and The Countess Rubina Degoya. (You can call them Seven and Ruby for short.)
