I enjoy going to burlesque shows frequently and decided to stop by here to kill some time before my flight. I didn't know what to expect from entering the museum however, I left with a bigger appreciation for the art!
The entrance fee is a reasonable amount (under $15) and also includes a guided tour of the intimate space. Jeffrey was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of burlesque. I spent a little over an hour at the museum and left feeling enlightened and titillated 😉
The best part of this experience???? It's run by a 501 (c)(3) educational organization. Not only did I get to learn by visiting this lovely place… I was able to support an amazing organization that exists to preserve and educate the public about burlesque!!!

Our experience was really made by our tour guide Darby, who is actually the curator of the museum. She is a vessel of knowledge, and could answer all of my boyfriends questions about the crossovers and history between Burlesque and Hollywood, and more. She is a true expert and it was fascinating to see her speak so passionately on the subject throughout the tour, pointing out stories about the different pieces they have at the museum, and then taking the time to speak with us afterwards as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something fun to do in Vegas whether you enjoy history, museums, film photographs, burlesque, costumes or props, or even if you just enjoy learning!
