Jennie Lee, “Miss 44 and Plenty More!” was plenty more than a popular burlesque dancer of the 1950s and ’60s. In 1955, she founded the Exotic Dancers League to fight for the rights of her fellow exotic dancers, an effort htat eventually won her a place on the Executive Council of the American Guild of Variety Artists. In 1965, she started the collection that would become The Burlesque Hall of Fame. And—
